BSNL launches special Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plans with Fixed Monthly Charges as low as ₹249 & ₹299 for upgrading existing landline customers to FTTH.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the launch of two Ultra Low Cost Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans which are exclusively availble to it’s existing Landline Customers all over India. The PSU is aggressively adding new Fiber Broadband connections all over the country by leveraging Bharatnet Infrastructure developed by BBNL. BSNL is running a pilot program – Bharatnet Udyami Scheme – funded by USOF to increase the rural broadband penetration.

The Bharat Net initiative aims to bridge the digital divide between different sections of the population and provide government services to citizens in rural and remote areas. As part of this, the initial cost of getting new connections in rural areas and the modem is subsidized by BSNL. The customer has to pay only the monthly internet bill amount.
In order to increase FTTH provision rate and to improve the quality of service of traditional copper landline connections, BSNL authorities has decided to launch FTTH voice unlimited plans for migrating existing Landline customers to FTTH. The above plans will be applicable only for the existing Landline customers working in exchanges proposed for closing. All the above mentioned charges are excluding GST.These instructions will be effective from 19th July 2023 across all the telecom circles.

Existing landline customers may book your Bharat Fiber Connection via Book My Fiber Portal. Customers may also visit nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre (BSNL CSC) or BSNL Telephone Exchange to get your number migrated to Bharat Fiber.
