BSNL has announced the relaunch of 300Mbps Unlimited FTTH (Fiber Broadband) Internet Plans – Fiber Silver Plus OTT & Fiber Ruby OTT bundled with premium OTT subscription for a period of 90 days in all telecom circles.

- BSNL relaunched 300Mbps Unlimited Bharat Fiber Plans – Fibre Silver Plus OTT & Fibre Ruby OTT for a period of 90 days from 11th August 2023.
- BSNL Fibre Silver Plus OTT plan offer 5000GB data usage at 300Mbps speed whereas Fibre Ruby OTT plan offer 6500GB data usage at 300Mbps speed.
- After the FUP usage limit, BSNL offer unlimited broadband internet access at 30Mbps and 40Mbps download speed respectively for the above two plans.
- Both the plans – Fibre Silver Plus OTT & Fibre Ruby OTT are bundled with Premium subscription to OTT Appliacations absolutely FREE.
- BSNL also offer FREE Static IP address and True Unlimited Voice Calls to any network along with these two FTTH plans.
BSNL has announced the relaunch of their two flagship FTTH plans – Fibre Silver Plus OTT & Fibre Ruby OTT with 300Mbps download speed across all the telecom circles including Andaman & Nicobar telecom circle. As per the latest information, the PSU relaunched these two Unlimited FTTH Broadband Internet plans for a period of 90 days from 11th August 2023. As their name suggest, BSNL offer FREE Premium OTT subscription bundled along with these two FTTH plans. A customer opting any of the above two FTTH plan may get access to premium OTT applications such as – Disney + Hotstar Super, Lions Gate LLP, Shemaroo Me ,Hugama Music and Hugama Play SVOD, ZEE5 Premium, SonyLiv Premium Yupp TV Live and many more as per Yupp TV package.

It has been decided by the competent authority to introduce Bharat Fibre Broadband plans ‘Fibre Silver Plus OTT’ and ’Fibre Ruby OTT’ bundled with OTT subscription in all telecom circles including A&N circle. Details of the plans are as below:-

NOTE: Customers opting the above Bharat Fiber FTTH plans are advised to use dual band WiFi ONT to get optimum bandwidth.
Terms & Conditions for providing above Broadband plans:-
- Bundled ‘OTT’ subscription will be discontinued, in case subscriber opts out from the above plans or connection is closed.
- The quantum of realized revenue with ‘OTT’ service providers shall be shared as per agreements.
- Revenue share with FTTH partners as per Fibre Policy shall be shared after deduction of revenue share of above OTT providers.
Above charges are excluding GST. The above instructions will have immediate effect in all telecom circles including A&N circle on promotional basis for a period of 90 days from 11th August 2023. It means, these two FTTH plans will be open for new customers from 11-08-2023 to 08-11-2023. BSNL has also issued directions to it’s field telecom circles to ensure compliance with all regulatory mechanism, online tariff reporting to TRAI. e. Further, it is also to be ensured the latest TRAI guideline with respect to number of plans. BSNL telecom circles are also requested to update this latest tariff in their websites also.

FREE Data Usage befor FUP :
BSNL Offer 300Mbps download speed till 5000GB & 6500GB in Fiber Silver Plus OTT & Fiber Ruby OTT plans where as Jio offers just 3300GB data usage in all their Unlimited Jio Fiber plans. Even though Jio Fiber offers 1Gbps FTTH plans, customers are restricted to use just 3300GB data in a month! Thus, BSNL is the clear winner while comparing the free data usage being offered to customers in FTTH plans.
FREE Data Usage After FUP :
BSNL customer may enjoy 30Mbps and 40Mbps unlimted broadband internet access even after crossing the FUP usage limit. What will be the fait of a Jio Fiber customer who took 1Gbps FTTH internet connectivity ? Can you imagine? Just look at the screenshot below which was taken from Jio’s website under Terms & Conditions.
They have clearly published it in their website that, any usage above 3300GB will be considered as misuse of the benefits provided and they reserves the right to withdraw the plan benefits in the form of data use for such consumer without giving any prior notice. Thus, BSNL wins here too!. Yes, a Jio Fiber Customer who took 1Gbps FTTH internet connection is also limited to use 3300GB data usage in a month.
