BSNL announced FREE Installation Charge Offer to all kinds on new connections such as Landline, ADSL Broadband, Bharat Fiber(FTTH) and Air Fiber Services till 31st March 2024.

BSNL announced 100% FREE Installation Charge Offer for all types of new customers till 31st March 2024. As per the latest information, new customers opting BSNL Services under – Landline, ADSL Broadband, Bharat Fiber (FTTH) and Air Fiber services may avail this offer. BSNL Customers opting monthly or higher payment option can avail this promotional offer. BSNL will offer a discount of Rs 500/- for Bharat Fiber/Air Fiber services in their first month invoice as FREE Installation Charge. For copper based landline connections a discount of Rs 250/- will be given as FREE Installation Charge.
An Official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of FREE Installaion Offer read as follows:-
It has been decided by BSNL authorites that :-
(a) Installation charges for Landline / Broadband connections (Copper / FTTH / AirFibre) is ‘NIL’ up to 31-03-2024 for all account types (except Governenment account type) across monthly / higher payment subscription in all circles.
(b) Installation charges under monthly / higher payment subscription for Govt. Account Types shall be levied as per existing instructions issued earlier.
Above instructions will be applicable for a period up to 31-03-2024 in all circles. BSNL has instructed it’s telecom circles to comply with all regulatory requirements including on line reporting to TRAI and also update the circle website.
How much amount I can save with BSNL FREE Installation Charge Offer?
Normally, BSNL will charge Rs 500/- as Installation Charge in the first month telephone bill for new Bharat Fiber (FTTH) or Air Fiber Connections. For copper based connections, Installation Charge of Rs 250/- will be charged instead of Rs 500/-. Since FREE Instalallation Charge Offer is available till 31-03-2024, BSNL will offer 100% Discount in Installation Charges in their first month telephone billl. It means, new customers opting FTTH or Air Fiber services may avail Rs 500/- as discount in their first month invoice. Similarly, new copper based landline customers may avail Rs 250/- as discount in their first month invoice.
- BSNL will offer Rs 500/- as discount in the first month invoice for all new FTTH (Bharat Fiber) / Air Fiber Connections.
- For Landline Connections a discount of Rs 250/- will be given in the first month invoice.
It is to be noted that, the above mentioned discount (BSNL FREE Installation Charge Offer) is not applicable to connections provided under Governement Category.
