As we reported earlier, BSNL launched advance multi recharge facility for its prepaid mobile customers in all the circles. This scheme allows customers to recharge plan / STV in advance without waiting for the expiry of current plan / STV.
To promote this multi recharge facility, BSNL has decided to launch 5GB Free Data Offer for customers opting advance recharge scheme. The validity of free data will be 22 days. A customer can recharge maximum of 2 advance STVs / Plan Vouchers of the same denomination.
An official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of 5GB Free Data offer read as follows : –
The competent authority has decided to offer 5GB free data with validity of 22 days with every
recharge utilizing multi-recharge facility as promotional offer for 90 days under GSM prepaid mobile
services.
The above tariff will be applicable with effect from 22-08-2020 as promotional offer for 90 days i.e., up to 19th November 2020. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order
and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.
