Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched multiple recharge facility to its prepaid mobile customers in all the circles.
Now all the existing and new prepaid mobile customers may recharge the plan / STV of the same denomination in advance as that of current plan / STV without waiting for the expiry of existing plan/STV.
How BSNL Multiple Recharge Facility Works?
At present multiple recharge facility is available for plans 186 / 485 / 666 / 1699 /1999 and STVs 98 / 99 / 187 / 319 / 399. The same plan / STV can be recharged maximum up to two times during the current plan validity period. Hence one plan / STV will be in ACTIVE state and two plans/STVs of same denomination will be in QUEUE. On expiry of current plan / STV, one of the plans/STVs in the queue will become activated and the customers gets a chance to again recharge the same denomination so that maximum two recharges can always be maintained in queue.
The advance recharge done by the customer will become automatically activated after the expiry of presently activated plan / STV. The activation of advance STV will be intimated to the customer via SMS.
