State run telecom major BSNL has decided to launch FMT (Fixed Mobile Telephony) – VoIP – App based calling – service which can be used even from out side India territory.
The new service will be launched by BSNL very soon which will be beneficial to thousands of NRI’s who are working abroad. BSNL will be launching Fixed Mobile Telephony (FMT) service with mobile numbering scheme. BSNL will be offering this service with Zero fixed monthly charges + Unlimited Free Sunday & Night calling benefits.

The above instructions shall be effective with immediate effect for FMT (Fixed Mobile Telephony) to be launched by BSNL with Mobile numbering scheme on PAN India basis. As we reported earlier in 2017, private operators approached TRAI to stop BSNL’s app based calling service.
