BSNL Kerala Circle Crossed '1 Crore' Mark In Total Mobile Connections On 12th October 2017

BSNL Kerala Telecom circle continues its excellent performance in customer acquisition and operations. On 12th October 2017, BSNL’s total mobile customer base crossed ‘1 Crore’ mark which includes both prepaid and postpaid segments.

As per latest information, BSNL’s gross mobile connections in Kerala Circe on 12-10-2017 was 1,00,00,061. Out of this, 97.6 lakh customers are in prepaid category and 2.4 lakh customers are in postpaid category.

As per TRAI telecom subscription data as on 31st July 2017, BSNL Kerala Circle’s gross mobile connections was 96.6 lakh whereas BSNL’s total mobile customer base in India was 10.5 crore with a market share of 8.81%. In wireline segment, BSNL Kerala Circle got 19.5 lakh connections whereas BSNL’s total customer base in India was 1.3 crore with a market share of 54.57%.

Recently BSNL launched several attractive unlimited voice and data plans which helped the PSU in increasing its market share even in this fierce competition. BSNL is the only operator giving stiff competition to the new entrant Reliance Jio. While all other private operators are loosing their existing customer base, BSNL managed to increase its market share and customer base with several lucrative plans and offers which are better than Raliance Jio.
