    BSNL clocked 400TB data usage on 19th March 2017, Kerala Circle leads with 100TB data traffic

    BSNL’s new Unlimited Combo Offer of Rs 339 plan has made a turbulence in Indian telecom market. The effect of this new plan is clearly visible in BSNL’s total mobile data usage.

    As per the latest information, BSNL’s total mobile data usage  on a single day had crossed 400TB for the first time on 19th March 2017. Major contributor is South Zone with 227.08 TB followed by North Zone (73.75 TB), West Zone (68.58 TB) and East Zone (39.13 TB).

    • East Zone – 39.13 TB
    • West Zone – 68.58 TB
    • North Zone – 73.75 TB
    • South Zone – 227.08 TB
    • Total – 408.54 TB
    Out of 227.08 TB usage of South Zone which comprises of Kerala, Tamilnadu (including Chennai), Karnataka & Andhrapradesh, 101 TB usage was  from Kerala Circle. Which means, one fourth of the total mobile data usage of BSNL was contributed by Kerala Circle alone.

    BSNL Kerala Circle Mobile Data Usage Statistics on 19-03-2017
    • 2G Data usage – 5.28 TB
    • 3G Data Usage – 95.73 TB
    • Total Data Usage – 101.01
    BSNL’s Combo 339 plan allows customers to enjoy Unlimited Data with 2GB daily usage without any speed restrictions for 28 days. After 2GB customers will get unlimited data usage however speed will be limited to 80Kbps. Under this plan, customers may also enjoy Unlimited Local & STD Calls to BSNL numbers + Daily 25 minutes free other network (local&STD) calls. After 25 minutes of free other network calls, customers may enjoy reduced call rate of just 25paise/min. The validity of Combo 339 plan is 28 days.
