State owned telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to offer up to 4 times extra data on existing data STVs in the market.
Two of its most popular 3G data STVs i.e., Rs 292/- with validity of 30 days will now offer 4 times data i.e., 8GB. Similarly, data STV of Rs 78/- will offer double data i.e., 2 GB.
Shri. RK Mittal, Director (CM), BSNL Board told that we are committed to provide affordable mobile services fo all segments of prepaid mobile customers. These offers will be valid from 6th February 2017 on wards on PAN India basis.

One should understand BSNL has no 3G coverage further the tariffs are for 2G/3G. And others operators are 3G/4G…
this is really a great move from bsnl side at the present industry status.but in order to attract customers into bsnl from other operators a proper advertisement should be arranged. and also if bsnl could offer a call charge of 10 paise to bsnl and 20 paise to other operators along with these stv,then i am sure that bsnl mobile will be the no.1 in India
