This New Year will bring cheers to all BSNL Customers all over India as the state run telecom major, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has already announced a bunch of exciting offers for its mobile and broadband customers in all the circles.
As per the latest information, BSNL has announced the regularization of its most popular prepaid mobile plans – ‘Student Special plan’ and ‘Freedom plan’ with effect from 1st January 2017 on wards on PAN India basis. It means, these two promotional plans will be available as regular prepaid mobile plans for all customers till further instructions from BSNL.
MRP of Student Special plan voucher is Rs 118 with One Year validity + 1 GB Free Data + cheapest call rate of 10ps/min (BSNL), 30ps/min (others) + Rs 10 talk value in main account. This plan also comes with added features like – Two Local Friends and Family Numbers @ 10 ps/min (BSNL Network) & 20ps/min (Other Network), Always Full Talk Time Facility on top up denominations of Rs 500 to Rs 1100, Rs 1500, Rs 2000, Rs 2200, Rs 2500 and Rs 3000.

The main attraction of BSNL Freedom plan is 2 Year validity. MRP of plan voucher is Rs 136 which offers 1 GB Free Data + all calls (local/STD) (on-net/off-net) (Home LSA/National Roaming) @25 paisa/min for first 60 days. This plan comes with special Combo STVs – 176, 377 & 577 which offer full talk value in main account + free data usage. Earlier the reduced call rate of 25paise/min was available only for the first 30 days. From 01-01-2017 on wards, it will be available for a period up to 60 days after activation.
