State run PSU, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched special packs of Rs 500 to help people during demonetization. BSNL CSCs (Customer Service Centres) will accept old currency notes of Rs 500 till 15th December 2016 against prepaid mobile top up.
As per the latest information, BSNL launched Full Talk Time Offer for top up 500 which will be available for all existing and new prepaid mobile customers in all telecom circles. In addition, the PSU will be issuing additional Free prepaid SIM card along with Free Plan Voucher for customers who tops up their account with Rs 500 and above at the time of taking new connection.
Additional Free SIM will be loaded with Free Plan Voucher of a value up to Rs.50/-. If such a plan voucher denomination is not available, each telecom circle may increase this limit up to +Rs.5/-.
In case of the Karnataka telecom circle this is of the value of Rs.71/-.
Demonetization: BSNL Offers from 25-11-2016 to 15-12-2016, available in all telecom circles
- Offer 1: Full talk value on Top up of Rs.500/- for all the customers.
- Offer 2: Additional Free SIM along with free Plan voucher of a value up to Rs.50* provided to the customer, if he/she Tops up with Rs.500 & above at the time of taking new connection.
The scheme of Free SIM is also available for BSNL Franchisees. The period of above mentioned promotional offers is with effect from 25-11-2016 to 15-12-2016. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.
