Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the extension of its FREE All India Roaming Offer further for one year on PAN India basis with effect from 15th June 2016.
As we reported last year, Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad launched Free National Roaming Scheme on 15th June 2015 for all BSNL Mobile Customers. Under this scheme, both prepaid and postpaid mobile subscribers of BSNL were allowed to enjoy free incoming voice calls while in national
roaming (including Delhi & Mumbai).

As per the latest information, BSNL authorities has decided to extend the scheme further for a period of one year with effect from 15-06-2016 in all telecom circles. It means, all existing as well as new BSNL Mobile customers need not pay anything extra for free roaming any where in India. BSNL is the only Indian operator to introduce such an exciting offer to it’s prepaid and postpaid mobile customers across India.

Later in August 2015, BSNL launched one new Combo STV 93 which offers 120 Minutes Free Out Going calls + 40 Free SMS to Any Network on national roaming. BSNL’s Free Roaming scheme has definitely made an impact among mobile users in India and we can see its reflection in the latest TRAI telecom subscription data for the month of March 2016. BSNL activated more than 15 lakh new mobile customers and tops in monthly growth rate beating Airtel, Vodafone and Idea.
