PAN India 3G Service provider, Bharat sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the extension of Pyari Jodi Scheme to all existing and new prepaid mobile customers on PAN India basis.
As per the latest information, BSNL will be offering 20 minutes free local call per day to one GSM mobile number of BSNL in his / her name. At present, the PSU offers free 20 local call minutes per day to one
fixed / limited mobility number of BSNL in his/her own name.

BSNL authorities also clarified that, no restriction has been imposed with
regard to the age of the number (minimum period of the fixed / limited mobility
number) specified by the subscriber under “Pyari Jodi Plan” to avail 20 minutes per
day free calls. However, if any such restriction has been imposed by any circle, the
same will be withdrawn at the earliest.

Under ‘Pyari Jodi Plan’ free 20 local call minutes per day is offered to one
fixed / limited mobility number of BSNL in his / her own name. Now the option of
GSM Mobile will also be added i.e., free 20 minutes local call per day will be
offered to one fixed / limited mobility / full mobility (GSM) number of BSNL in
his / her own name. The above will be effective with effect from 01-06-2016.

To boost SIM sales, a promotional offer is also launched for a period of 90 days on every new ‘Per Second
Plan’, ‘Per Minute Plan’ and ‘Special Roaming Tariff Plan (SRTP Plan)’ by offering a
free SIM with inbuilt ‘Pyari Jodi Plan’ with below terms and conditions:

- Free SIM to be given with new connection will be Normal SIM or Micro SIM having
sales price of Rs. 20/-.
- No freebies will be offered with the free SIM offered above except special benefit of
20 minutes free calls available under ‘Pyari Jodi Plan’. - Above scheme will be available through CSC and franchisees. However, No
commission will be payable to franchisee/retailers wrt the free SIMs offered under
above scheme. - Above offer will be available on the activation of new connection under ‘Per Second
Plan’, ‘Per Minute Plan’ and ‘SRTP Plan’. The offer will not be applicable for special
discounted price of FRC6/7. - The above offer will be available for a period of 90 days from the date of
implementation.
There was tremendous response from customers when BSNL launched Pyari Jodi Scheme for the first time in November 2010. At that time, BSNL offered unlimited free call facility to one BSNL Landline
or WLL (Fixed/Limited Mobility) number. Later, the PSU revised the plan by restricting the free calls to 20 minutes per day.
