National telecom backbone and India’s largest landline service provider – Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to launch 24 hours Unlimited Free Calls (Local & STD) to any network from landline phones from 21st March 2016.
BSNL will be introducing two new add-on voice packs which offers 24 hours Unlimited Free Calls for its Combo Broadband customers with fixed monthly charges of above Rs 700 per month. However, the newly announced voice add-on packs are exclusive for selected SSAs of Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh circles.
There will be two types of Unlimited Free Calling Add On packs to get free calling any time during 24 hours.
- Add-on Voice pack of Rs. 48/- per month – for making 24 hrs. unlimited local calls to any network within Circle.
- Add-on Voice pack of Rs. 98/- per month – for making 24 hrs. unlimited (local + STD) calls to any network in India.
The above add-on voice packs shall be available only to the Broadband users for “retail use” having Broadband combo plan with plan FMC Rs. 700/- & above.
The “retail use” is defined as follows:-
- Outgoing calls should be less than 300 unique numbers in a month.
If the customer availing add-on voice packs as above, has not fulfilled the retail use condition as above, add-on voice pack shall not be applicable and the customer will be charged as per existing broadband plan tariff. In this regard, applicability of ‘add-on’ pack will be checked on monthly basis.
The above add-on voice packs (24 hours Unlimited Free Calls to Any Network) shall be available only in following SSAs:-
- Jaipur SSA of Rajasthan Circle
- Faridabad & Gurgaon SSAs of Haryana Circle
- Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur & Gwalior SSAs of Madhya Pradesh Circle
The new 24 hrs unlimited calling voice add-on packs will be available for a promotional period of 90 days from 21-03-2016.
Currently BSNL offers Unlimited Free Night Calling Offer (from 9pm to 7am) to all Landline and Broadband customers without any additional charges. We may hope that the newly announced 24 Hrs Unlimited Calling scheme would also be extended to all other circles very soon.

So if a user call between 9pm to 7 am, then his 300 unique call count will be counted or not if he/she activated Rs 98 add on pack?
