BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle today (the 22nd of February 2016), has issued a press release which inform all BSNL landline / broadband customers not to make any payment in Paytm as such payments will cause disconnection of their services.
BSNL authorities also clarified that, Paytm is not authorized to collect BSNL Bill Payments. Some telephone connections of the subscribers who have paid their telephone bills in Paytm were got disconnected this month and upon further investigation, it was found that Paytm is not officially authorized to collect BSNL Bill payments through their payment portal.
BSNL authorities has taken up this matter and all arrangements were made to withdraw the BSNL payment link at Paytm site. It is also learnt that, they(Paytm) have agreed to pay back the amount collected by them unauthorisedly, to the customers account immediately.
The press release also informed that, as a one time goodwill measure, BSNL is reconnecting such telephones which stand disconnected with a request to customers to ensure payment to BSNL within 3 days at any BSNL counter or any other authorized channel. All customers can make payment of telephone bills through online at www.portal.bsnl.in

Postpaid mobile is not listed in title, but later it's mentioned no Bsnl payment should be made through paytm, I had made a payment on 12th for mobile bill, is it valid ?
Why such a restriction for paytm.
it was doing good service always and such a reputed ewallet.
Through paytm customer could able to make prepaid recharge and could do postpaid bill payments.
they offered attractive cashbacks too which cannot offered by bsnl or any of its authorised payment parter till date.
still why BSNL removed paytm..??
I think its all politics and BSNL GM not get the money which he asked from paytm for providing payment gateway.
BSNL employees themself ruins the company BSNL
BSNL has done a great mistake. they will regret.
It is for safety of customer.in case Paytm has not submitted payment to bsnl then how will you get your money back and will customer pay bill twice.
i also affected by paytm while getting bus tckt via paytm server deducted my credit card amt but tkct was nit getting myself reported several time still i can't getting the amt
transaction through paytm is the worst transactions ever….

So,what you will achieve after disconnecting customers?? Customers have previously used that service and by default many are still using PAYTM..Even for recharges most BSNL customers use that for fast,prompt profitable service.BSNL can never learn lessons.Why can't you create a APP of BSNl ,which should be user friendly and collect bills online?/ BSNL customers don't have choice despite BSNL's fleeing attitude..

I feel very sad when some people tell that Paytm is a cheater.Actually these people don't know the facts-Paytm wallet is a RBI approved wallet;They're one among the companies those who got payment bank license.Making the Paytm an approved partner of BSNL,will benefit the growth of BSNL.

Worst Service…… i have paid my BSNL Landline on 8 April through Freecharge and transaction showing successful at freecharge but Still Showing Pending At BSNL Portal….
