Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has upgraded its Online Payment Portal – http://portal.bsnl.in with a professional responsive mobile friendly design. They have added many additional features in the new redesigned online payment portal.
Customers may use this official Payment Portal of BSNL for making payments of their Landline, Broadband, Fiber Broadband, WiMax, Postpaid Mobile bills etc. Online Recharge / Top Up facility is also available for all BSNL Prepaid Mobile customers.
Quick Payment / Quick Recharge option is also available for customers those who are not having BSNL Online Portal Account. However registered customers may get extended features by logging in to the portal with your e-mail ID.

BSNL Payment portal allows multiple payment modes. Customers may pay their bills or recharge their number online with Credit Cards / Debit Cards / Internet Banking / Cash Cards. The process of payment is now made easy and simplified.

My experience with the portal is disappointing . Once you give the required details, the page will display the bill amount. When you click to Pay- you will be taken to the next page. There are options for different mode of payment such as internet banking, credit card etc., Now, here starts the problem. you click any of the option, the small window will expand- the tabs shown are not clickable- your bill amount is displayed as '0'. Although that tab appears clickable, it won't . Practically there is no way out there to move further . Absolutely irritating.. Request BSNL to look into and rectify
It is a pity that no one in BSNL is bothered to see to correct the anomaly pointed out above. BSNL customer care no 1800-180-1502 is just an ornamental facility provided there for namesake, and the persons attending the calls are incompetent and too mechanical to respond customers' query, as if by default . No wonder , today BSNL is struggling for its survival and turning out to be a colossal white elephant
