BSNL has decided to extend the Free All India Roaming Facility to all CDMA Prepaid Mobile Customers across India. The PSU launched free roaming scheme to all prepaid and postpaid GSM mobile customers from 15th June 2015 onwards. This scheme was not applicable to CDMA prepaid customers.
Today, BSNL has announced the extension of Free All India Roaming Facility to all CDMA Prepaid Customers with immediate effect. In addition, BSNL has also slashed SMS charges upto 58 percent. The reduced SMS charges are available from Home LSA and in Roaming.

Regarding this latest Free All India Roaming Facility to CDMA Prepaid Customers, an official BSNL statement said –
Due to reduction of ceiling roaming charges by TRAI and introduction of free incoming call during roaming by BSNL, Competent Authority has decided to revise CDMA Base plan with immediate effect.
