BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle has decided to convert the existing Old GSM Prepaid Mobile Plans to existing New Plans with effect from 1st April 2015 onwards. After migration, the new validity will be 180 days irrespective of their Old Prepaid Account Validity.
As per the latest information, all existing Old Circle specific prepaid plans (Mithram / New Deepam / Pravasi New / 3G For U / Students Special) will be converted to New Mithram Plan whereas Old Corporate prepaid plans (General / Per Second / Per Minute) will be converted to the corresponding New Corporate Plans (Per Second New / Per minute New / Payri Jodi Revised).
New Jai Jawan, Roaming Tariff Plan 46 (RTP-46) and Free Roaming Plan 199 ( RTP FR 199) will also continue as such.
The existing customers of Life Time Plan will continue. However this plan is closed for new customers and for migration to another plan to life time plan.

The revised plans are more attractive than the existing Old prepaid plans. It is because BSNL offers Special Benefits like Always Full Talk Time Facility & Reduced Call rate to Friends and Family Numbers etc.
Prepaid Mobile Customers may activate any of the available Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) for reduced Call / SMS / 3G (2G) Mobile Internet / ISD tariff.

On what basis does the automatic validity extension work? Like, i was a deepam plan customer and my validity extends each time i make a cumilative recharge of 200. Is it something like that or do i hv to make a recharge at the grace period?
