India’s Largest Broadband Service Provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the extension of ‘Speed Restoration Facility after FUP’ for all Unlimited Fiber Broadband customers also, in line with ADSL Broadband plans. BSNL has already launched this offer for all Unlimited ADSL Broadband customers from October 2014.
This scheme got tremendous response from ADSL Broadband customers, and hence BSNL has decided to offer the same scheme for Fiber Broadband customers also. ‘Speed Restoration Facility’ allows unlimited Broadband customers to enjoy high speed browsing at the same speed after FUP (Fair Usage Policy) download limit.
This scheme was launched across all BSNL telecom circles in India. Now, customers can select their suitable packages and the charges will be added in the next broadband bill.
Customers can opt to restore the speed when they cross the data transfer quota through a pop-up menu. The charge for additional usage is RS.100 / 200 / 300 / 500 for 2GB / 5GB / 10GB / 20GB data transfer quota at the higher speed for the rest of the month.
