BSNL has decided to rationalize prepaid top up denominations with effect from 1st January 2021 onwards. As per the latest information, only 24 top up denominations will be available for BSNL prepaid mobile customers. To increase main account balance customers may need to choose any one of the 24 available top up denominations.
At present, BSNL prepaid mobile customers may top up their prepaid number with any denomination in the multiple of Rs 10 starting from Rs 10/-. This scenario is going to change from New Year 2021 onwards. BSNL will allow selected 24 top up denominations from 1st January 2021 for their prepaid mobile customers across all the telecom circles in India.

An Official statement regarding the rationalization of top up denominations for BSNL prepaid mobile customers read as follows:-
The competent authority has decided to rationalize the following Top-Up Denominations under the
GSM Prepaid Mobile Services:-
- Top Up Denomination (total 24) at MRP 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 / 150 / 200 / 220 / 300 / 500 / 550 / 1000 / 1100 / 2000 / 3000 / 5000 & 6000 only allowed with effect from 01-01-2021. This will supersede all the previous approvals for the circles or corporate orders pertaining to Top
Ups.- FTT (Full Talk Time) with Top-Up of MRP 120 / 150 / 200 / 220 / 300 / 500 / 550 / 1000 / 1100 / 2000 / 3000 / 5000 & 6000 for
the Month of January, 2021 only.
The above tariff will be applicable from 01-01-2021 on PAN India basis. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order
and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.

How can I increase BSNL prepaid main account balance from 1st January 2021 onwards?
You may need to top up your prepaid mobile number with any one of the 24 available top up denominations. Out of the 24 top up denominations, BSNL also allows Full Talk Time benefits on selected 12 top up denominations in the month of January 2021 as given in the above table.
Whether FTT (Full Talk Time) top up denominations are the same in all the months of 2021?
No. As per BSNL, FTT offer was declared on 12 top up denominations only for the month of January 2021.
As we reported earlier, BSNL discontinued all extra talk time offers from 01-12-2020. Earlier, BSNL prepaid mobile customers were offered a bouquet of extra talk time offers starting from Rs 550 onwards. All those extra talk value offers are now replace with full talk time from this December 2020 onwards.
