BSNL has launched an attractive Bonus Scheme to it’s Channel Parteners in an attempt to increase sales revenue from mobile segment. As per the latest information, this one-time Bonus Scheme is available for a limited period of 3 three months commencing from August 2021. BSNL’s SIM Selling PoS (Point of Sale) will get maximum monthly bonus of Rs 1500/- whereas BSNL Franchisees / BRDs are eligible for maximum monthly incentive of Rs 50,000/-. The scheme is valid from August 2021 to October 2021.
BSNL has launched this promotional bonus scheme to motivate their SIM Selling PoS (includng DSAs) and thereby to increase overall sales revenue. The PSU already categorized its SIM selling PoS and Franchisee into Four different categories – Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver based on their performance in SIM sales. BSNL will be giving cash incentive for Franchisees and PoS who can upgrade their present category to the next higher level. SIM sales performance in the same month of previous year will be taken as reference for evaluating Franchisee / DSA / BRD performance in the current year. For example, to evaluate performance in August 2021, reference shall be their performance in August 2020.
An Official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of Special Bonus Scheme read as follows :-
In order to motivate channel partners to increase SIM sale and revenue during August-2021 to October-2021 i.e. for three months, approval of competent authority is hereby conveyed regarding launch of a Bonus scheme for providing one time bonus to franchisees and SIM selling PoS as per the details given below.
BSNL Bonus Scheme for Franchisees & PoS from August 2021 to October 2021
- Bonus of Rs.1,500/-, Rs.1,000/-, Rs.500/- and Rs.200/- for Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver category of SIM selling PoS (including DSAs) respectively.
- Bonus of Rs.50,000/-, Rs.25,000/-, Rs.10,000/- and Rs.5,000/- for Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver category of Franchisees (also applicable to BRD) respectively.
- Bonus scheme will be applicable for 3 months and reference shall be the category in the same month of previous year i.e., for August-2021 reference shall be August-2020, for September-2021 reference shall be September-2020 and October-2021 reference shall be October-2020.
- In case of channel partners in Diamond category, bonus will be 100% if the category is retained and no bonus shall be applicable in case of category downgrade.
- In case of channel partners in Platinum category, bonus will be 50% if the category is retained, 100% if they upgrade to Diamond category and no bonus shall be applicable in case of category downgrade.
- For all other categories, no bonus shall be applicable without category upgrade.
BSNL PoS (Retailers/DSAs) in Diamond category are eligible for 100% bonus if they are able to maintain their sales performance as compared to the corresponding month in previous year. BSNL PoS (Retailers/DSAs) in Platinum category are eligible for 100% bonus only if they are able to upgrade their category to Diamond. They are eligible for 50% bonus for category retention. Bonus scheme is applicable only for category upgrade for Gold, Silver & Bronze category PoS.
Bonus Scheme : Applicability of BRD, RED, OCSC etc
For any Franchisee / PoS on-boarded after the reference month, the category can be taken as the highest category achived up-to the previous months. In case Franchisee / PoS on-boarded during the scheme period i.e., during August 2021 to October 2021, all newly created Franchisee/PoS above Silver category may be considered for Bonus Scheme Incentive by relaxation of condition of existence in previous year / months in order to keep channel partners motivated. Calculation of bonus scheme for BRD (BSNL RD) may be calculated based on defined category for existing franchisee. RED shall be considered for as SIM selling PoS for benefit of Bonus Scheme. Bonus scheme benefit to OCSC (BSNL Outsourced CSC) shall be calculated assuming the OSCS Franchisee as a PoS and combingin sale of all OCSC agents under the OCSC Franchisee. Bonus Scheme benefit to retailers shall be applicable to OCSC franchisee and credited to OCSC Franchisee wallet alone. Regular Franchisee Bonus Scheme benefit shall not be applicable for OCSC Franchisee.
BSNL PoS Categorization based on Sales Performance
BSNL categorized their PoS based on monthly sales as – Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver & Bronze as given in the table below. This categorization is applicable to BSNL Retailers and Direct Selling Agents (DSAs).

Based on their category, BSNL is offering free calls, free data and free SMS benefits on DSA / Retailer SIM. PoS having more sales will be given more benefits than others. Diamond category retailer / DSA can enjoy unlimited voice calls, 4GB Data / Day & 100 SMS/Day absolutely free. Similarly a Platinum Category retailer may enjoy unlimited calls, 3GB Data / Day & 50 SMS/Day while Gold category retailer may get unlimited calls, 2GB Data/Day & 30 SMS/Day as an incentive to their performance.

BSNL Trade Scheme Commission
In addition to the newly announced Bonus Scheme, BSNL Retailers and DSAs are also eligible for Trade Scheme Commission based on their monthly sales and SIM activations. Trade Scheme commission will be given as CTOP UP credit on next month to retailers / DSAs.

BSNL Retailer / DSA is also eligible for special MNP commission for port-in connections. MNP commission will be given in addition to FRC commission & Trade Scheme Commission. Retailers or DSAs doing MNP for BSNL will get attractive commission for each mobile connection port-in to BSNL network. Details for MNP commission is given in the below table.

To enroll as BSNL Retailer, you may need to visit nearest BSNL Franchisee Office or contact BSNL Franchisee Manager in your location. By enrolling as a BSNL Retailer or BSNL DSA the following sales opportunities are available which include – Provide New BSNL Mobile Connections (Prepaid&Postpaid), Provide MNP (Mobile Number Portability) PORT-In Connections to BSNL, Recharge / Top up transactions via CTOP UP wallet, Postpaid Bills Payment via CBP Wallet, Canvas Fixed Line Products like Landline, Broadband/FTTH etc & SIM Swap (Duplicate SIM / SIM Replacement).

Good. From 690573. Am a DSA. In my experience, until unless our crawling network, V can’t approach public to promote bsnl. First V speed up to install 4G forthwith. In my area other networks r faster than ours.
