    BSNL to Celebrate 15th Foundation Day by observing Consumer Delight Week, Launches New Data STVs and Annual Data Plans

    On the occasion of its 15th foundation day on 1st October 2015, BSNL has announced to rationalize its 3G/2G Annual data tariffs for all its prepaid customers with effect from 0l-10-2015 in its all telecom circles. As per the recommendations of the House committee of Member of Parliament, BSNL has also decided to celebrate “Consumer Week to delight the customers”.

    From 01-10-2015, BSNL prepaid customers will have one more option to choose a new 3 GB Data STV which will cost them Rs 444/-. The validity of this new STV will be 60 days. BSNL is also bringing another new combo voucher at Rs 239 offering 1GB data at 3G speed plus talk value of worth Rs 100. This STV will have validity of 14 days.




    BSNL have come up with following four different types of Annual 3G/2G data STVs.

    Shri N.K.Mehta, Director (CM) BSNL Board claimed “No other operator in the industry has so attractive STVs. Our network coverage is largest & widespread and our tariffs are considerably lower than other players” he added.

    The House committee of Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) during its study visit at some places in BSNL, has desired that “Consumer Week should be celebrated in BSNL to delight the customers”. Therefore it has been decided to celebrate Consumer Week in BSNL with effect from 01-10-2015 to 07-10-2015. This will also mark the foundation day of BSNL. The PSU will be carrying out special activities during the week to delight customers.

    BSNL has also decided to withdraw existing Data STVs 78 & 139. Validity of existing Data STV 78 Customers will be extended up to 20th Oct 2015 & validity of existing STV-139 Customers will be extended up to 31st Oct 2015. Customers of these STVs are requested to utilize the accumulated data within the period mentioned. If data remain unused, then accumulated data will be lapsed on successive recharge of any other Data STV.
