Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision in features of Per Second & Per Minute prepaid mobile plans (FRC 106 & 107) with effect from 1st May 2019 on wards.
As per the latest information, BSNL has added Unlimited Voice calls to any network in Home LSA and National roaming including Delhi & Mumbai for 24 days and 20 SMS (any network, local/national) for 24 days with these plan vouchers. In addition, BSNL has decided to withdraw always full talk time on Top Up of Rs 500/- and above for these plans.
An official statement regarding the rationalization of prepaid FRC (First Recharge Coupon) of Rs 106/107 read as follows:- “Approval of the competent authority is hereby conveyed to rationalize Per Second and Per Minute plans (FRC 106/107) under prepaid mobile services with effect from 01.05.2019 as given below:-
A. Plan freebies with FRC 106 / 107 : Unlimited Voice calls to any network in Home LSA and National roaming including Delhi & Mumbai for 24 days and 20 SMS (any network, local/national) for 24 days.
B. Withdrawal of Full Talk Value on Top up of Rs 500/- and above.
C. Kindly note the special benefit of Full talk value offer on Topup of Rs.500/- and above is also withdrawn for Plans 446 / 666 / 1699 / 2099 / 97.
The above tariff will be implemented from 01.05.2019. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.
Some of the recent tariff revisions announced by BSNL with effect from 1st May 2019 are listed below for your quick reference:-
- BSNL doubled validity of Unlimited Data STV 198 from 28 days to 54 days with effect from 1st May 2019 on wards
- BSNL withdrawn some of the existing Unlimited STVs with effect from 1st May 2019 on wards
- BSNL extended ‘Home WiFi’ 5GB Free Trial broadband plan to all landline customers till 31st May 2019
- BSNL extended 25% Cashback Offer for Landline, Broadband & Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Customers till 31st May 2019
- BSNL revised data charges for both prepaid and postpaid mobile customers from 1st May 2019 on wards
- BSNL launched Extra Data Offer with Unlimited plans and STVs till 30th June 2019
- BSNL discontinued NGN Prepaid Landline Service in all the circles with immediate effect
