BSNL has launched WINGS – India’s First VoIP Service which getting tremendous response from customers all over the country.
Now, BSNL has published promotional tariff of just Rs 1.2/minute for WINGS customers calling from outside India (International Location) to any of the telephone / mobile number of Indian network. This is the cheapest international voice calling tariff in the world.

To avail International calling service at this rate, a WINGS customer need to avail ISD facility by paying Rs 2000/- as refundable security deposit. This will be a great offer for millions of NRIs. With BSNL WINGS Service, they can roam anywhere in the world without worrying about International Roaming / Handset compatibility / High Call Charges etc.
At present, BSNL allows WINGS customers to make and receive calls only within Indian territory. As per the latest information, BSNL will be launching International Roaming with ISD facility to WINGS customers very soon. This is foolish decision.since we could get unlimited call to India @5usd monthly.even airtel voip service also providing 2500 minute calls to India @10usd.so charging 1.20 rupees per minute to call to India is not reasonable.for NRI, let bsnl launch a SIP based voip plan which cost below 3500 rupees per year,which could be used anywhere in the world over internet with unlimited call to all network of India.
vodafone and jio is launching soon VoWiFi which can be used anywhere in the world without any additional charges and by using existing sim mobile plans in India.
