National telecom backbone, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced 100% discount on installation charges for new Fiber Broadband (FTTH) connections from 23rd January 2017 on wards on PAN India basis.
As per the latest information, the promotional offer will be available for a period up to 31st March 2017 on PAN India basis. New customers may avail BSNL Fiber Broadband services with Zero Initial Charges during the period. Free installation offer is applicable to Voice, Broadband and Combo plans provided through optical fiber cable (OFC).
An official statement from BSNL read as follows – “It has been decided to launch a promotional offer for a period up to 31-03-2017 to waive-off installation charges for the new FTTH connections (voice/broadband/combo) in all the circles.”
As we reported earlier, BSNL revised installation charges for new FTTH connections from 20-06-2016 on wards in all the circles. Revised Installation Charges for New FTTH Connections are given below:

But they provide FTTH in limited areas and i am waiting for them to reach my area. They are more interested in areas where there are lot of apartments and users. Our area has few apartments, but the user base is less i believe.
