Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched Web Selfcare Portal – http://www.bsnlszprepaid.com for its GSM Prepaid Mobile Customers in South Zone. BSNL prepaid mobile customers may use their 10 digit mobile number and OTP (One Time Password) to login to the Web Selfcare Portal.
Customers may use Web Selfcare Portal to manage his/her prepaid account, know the details about main account balance, activated special tariff vouchers, main account validity, main account expiry date, Friends and Family Numbers, STV balance, STV expiry date etc. Latest and updated list of special tariff vouchers and plan vouchers are also be available online in Web Selfcare Portal.
Facilities / Features Available in BSNL GSM Prepaid Web

1. Prepaid Account Details
It includes the following
- Recharge – To recharge our mobile number using the secret code of Scratch Card / Paper Card
- IVR Language – To change the default IVR language
- Last Five Events – To get details about last five transactions (Voice/SMS/Data)
- Change Tariff Plan – To change the prepaid mobile tariff plan
2. Special Tariff Voucher Details
It includes the following
- STV Enquiry – To get the details of subscribed STVs
- STV Subscription – To subscribe STVs from the list of available STVs
3. Friends and Family Details
It includes the following
- FNF View – To get the current list of Friends and Family Numbers
- FNF Add – To Add a new number to the Friends and Family List
- FNF Modify – To modify / change an existing number Friends and Family Number
- Pyari Jodi – To Add your Pyari Jodi Landline Number (applicable to Pyari Jodi Mobile Customers)
Customers may get the latest list of STVs (Voice / SMS / Data / ISD) through this online selfcare portal. Those having sufficient prepaid account balance may activate the desired offers / special tariff vouchers (STVs) through Web Selfcare Portal itself.
BSNL South Zone includes the following telecom circles :- Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh.

I liked the way, the information was presented to customers.
I will recommend adding the features as displaying more description of selected recharge to be done.
And DND options updation and any extra subscribed services section.
Along with it raises a question that, what was the need of this separate website? Should not it be merged with portal.bsnl.in as a single source for all transaction and thus making a single website fully strong and complete in all aspect.
Continue improvements only will save the bsnlszprepaid & it's employees.thanks for new website portals.
