Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today announced the launch of FREE Installation Charges for new Bharat Fiber (FTTH), Landline and Broadband connections for a period upto 31st March 2021.
As per the latest information, new customers opting BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) or Landline or Broadband connection can avail 100% discount on installation charges. At present, BSNL is charging Rs 500/- as one time installation charges for new Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connections. This one time installation charges is applicable for FTTH connections provided directly as well as through LCOs/TIPs/MSOs. As per this latest announcement, all new BSNL FTTH connections activated between 24-02-2021 and 31-03-2021 can avail Rs 500/- discount.
Now, competent authority has decided “to waive off installation charges of Rs. 250/- (for Cu connections) and Rs. 500/- (for Bharat Fibre connections) currently levied on BSNL Landline/Broadband connections (Cu/Fibre/BBoWiFi/Bharat Air Fibre) on promotional basis till 31-03-2021 in all the circles”.

The above instructions shall be applicable with immediate effect, on promotional basis for a period up to 31-03-2021 in all the circles. Free Installation Charges Offer is applicable to traditional telephone connections also. It means, new connection provided via copper cables (Old Landline / ADSL Broadband) also comes under this offer. At present BSNL is charging Rs 250/- as installation charges for new telephone / broadband connections provided via copper cable.

Normally, first bill will include activation charges of Rs 500/- and one month plan charges as plan security deposit.
