State run telecom major, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of Election Special Broadband plan ‘BBG ULD 1491 EA’ from 1st July 2016 on wards in all the circles.
As we reported earlier, BSNL introduced Special Landline and Broadband plans exclusive for election authorities for the smooth conduction of election process. Now, BSNL authorities has decided to reduce the minimum hire period for the Election Special Broadband plan ‘BBG ULD 1491 EA’ from Two Months to One Month with effect from 01-07-2016 on PAN India basis.

All other terms and conditions shall remain same and the revised tariff shall be effective with effect from 01-07-2016 in all the circles. However, the minimum hire period of Election Special Landline Plan-1500 shall remain the same.
Landline telephone instrument having caller ID facility will be provided at Rs 600/- and Broadband Modem shall be provided only on prevailing outright purchase charges for such Broadband Connections. The above plans will be available only to users of Election Authority in all telecom circles on PAN India basis.
